Alpenrose Gardens Estate
Grand Mountain Home, Gardens & Waterfall Sanctuary

Alpenrose Gardens is a 30 acre private estate located in Suches, Georgia. Flowers are blooming except in the coldest part of the winter. Canada Creek flows through the middle of the property and over five waterfalls before it enters the Chattachoochee National Forest. At an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet, the mist from the waterfalls cool the air making even the hottest summer days quite pleasant. Native wildflowers abound, including rhododendron, mountain laurel, azaleas, orchids, trillium, and many others.

Over the years, the property has hosted family weddings and receptions as well as countless birthdays parties, Christmases, Anniversaries, Independence Days, hiking club events and other celebrations. Occasionally, artists would be invited to the property for inspirational retreats and to paint. Many of those original oil painting can be found throughout the home. The property has endless possibilities as it would be an excellent venue for a Luxury Bed and Breakfast, Boutique Inn, Event Venue, Corporate Retreat, or Private Family Compound. The property has multiple building sites which could accommodate separate homes, cottages or other structures. Opportunities also exist for possible development, subdivision, etc.
